about me

I’m a musician based in West Yorkshire, UK. I create my own music under the title of Louie Luca, and work in studio recording and production. 2026, for me, has seen two project releases. This includes a Hip-Hop beat selection crafted solely on an Akai s3000, with all of the samples having been sourced from records (crate-digger style) to encompass everything great about retro beat-making.

My second project is a cover EP, ‘reimagining’ classic songs that have been an inspiration to my career with contemporary production baked into each track. The EP was made with production in mind, keeping a focus on the initial stage of pulling the best performances possible into the recordings all the way to a clean and professional stereo master.

Alongside personal projects, I work freelance with artists to help them with all of the stages surrounding music creation. This tends to look like mixing and mastering for those who need an expert ear.
